I have some iris seeds in the fridge cold stratifying. Only one seedling from the last batch I planted has survived in my greenhouse. I’m hoping that these next ones will be ready to be planted outside after last frost.

I’m on the east coast and it’s still too cold and too early to try starting seeds for transplanting. I typically start in the beginning of April for my greenhouse and direct seed cold tolerant plants at the start of May. Tender veggies like tomatoes don’t go into the garden until after Father’s Day to get past the freak mid June freeze that happens every year.
