Al Truistic's Beer Bread Bakery is s social enterprise who uses some of the revenues from their Craft Beer Bread products to help support Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC). Their focus is on peer support; at a time when a parent has to be strongest for their child they're being torn apart inside. This is a lived experience for Al Truistic's owner Dave and there was no support for his family when his infant daughter was diagnosed with a mostly fatal childhood cancer. Parents have support now and Dave wants to ensure parents have it when they need it. BYW Dave's daughter will turn 31 in June.
