Learn the essential role of Moderators on Kcunac.

Moderators are the guardians of the Kcunac platform. Their role is to help maintain a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all users. As part of the Kcunac Team, moderators ensure that the platform stays aligned with our guidelines, protects user safety, and fosters healthy conversations.

They’re active participants in both community spaces and behind-the-scenes moderation efforts. Their role is crucial to keeping Kcunac user-driven, inclusive, and secure.

What Do Moderators Do?

Kcunac Moderators are responsible for a wide range of tasks that help the platform run smoothly:

  1. Reviewing content reported by users

  2. Monitoring posts, communities, pages, and comments for violations of Community Guidelines

  3. Issuing warnings, account suspensions, or bans when necessary

  4. Identifying spam, scams, or abusive behaviour

  5. Supporting and training new Kcunac team members

  6. Creating helpful Support Posts and documentation for the Help Center

  7. Participating in team meetings and platform improvement discussions

  8. Validating new members or reviewing flagged accounts

  9. Removing duplicate post to save space and maintain quality

They also act as mentors, offering tips to users on how to make the most of the platform and use Kcunac responsibly.

What Moderators Cannot Do

Moderators are powerful, but their authority has limits. They do not:

  1. Manage public relations or external media (done by the PRM Team)

  2. Create or alter platform features (left to Developers)
