At the model railroad show, my sons 14 yr old step son is with the local club, this is the largest show in Ontario.

The ice is just coming off the bay over the past couple of days, a pair of Mute Swans & Mallard ducks in close to shore.

Sad thing to see but it is reality in nature, the best we can hope for is suffering was minimal. Out yesterday for a walk and I came across the remains of 2 deer from the winter, this one in the creek, seeing moslty rib bones. This was solid ice all winter up to few weeks ago.
