There was a huge murder of crows in the park this morning, all crowded into a big pine tree while making a hellish racket. A couple walking ahead of me in the woods commented on the noise the birds were making while they peered up at the crows. I then walked past the couple and the crows fell silent. I glanced up to see the birds watching me. "How did you do that?" the other woman asked while she and her male companion stared at me wide-eyed. "They're all watching you!" I merely smiled before I strolled onward along the trail. Soon the crows began their racket. I glanced over my shoulder to see the couple disappearing hurriedly back down the trail. I snickered as I walked on. I love freaking out the locals.
