Bee Nucleus Colonies
I'm going to post a video and see how it goes. This was the first time my spouse and I placed Bee Nucleus Colonies (NUCs) into our Langstroth hives. Up until that time the only experience I had was an excellent 8 week course I took from the PEI Bee Association. My spouse and I drove to Fall River, Nova Scotia and picked up the three NUCs we had purchased and then drove for 2.5 hours in our hatchback to our Homestead near Digby Nova Scotia. Some bees got out while we were driving and when we transferred the bees to the hives it was just pure chaos. No stings though as we were wearing our protective bee suits. #beekeeping
